December Alumni Spotlight: Daniel Renfrow

This month, our Honors Alumni Spotlight shines on Daniel Renfrow, a 1999 Honors Scholar and summa cum laude graduate from EKU.  After earning a BA in sociology, he received an MA and a PhD in sociology from the University of Washington, where his dissertation was titled “Sexuality as Social Status.”

November Alumni Spotlight: Katie Patton

This month we are overjoyed in the EKU Honors Program to “welcome home” our alumna Katie Patton—a 2010 summa cum laude and “Honors Scholar” graduate of EKU. She returned to Case Annex in October to accept the position of EKU Honors Program Coordinator.

EKU Honors Student Competes In Fashion Competition

Eastern Kentucky University Honors Program student Rebecca Reynolds, Louisville, has been selected to compete in Waterfront Fashion Week as part of her senior thesis.

“It is kind of amazing to see what started out as an Honors Thesis has turned into,” Reynolds said. “Really, when I started, all I knew was that I wanted to sew something.”
