EKU Honors Student Competes In Fashion Competition

Eastern Kentucky University Honors Program student Rebecca Reynolds, Louisville, has been selected to compete in Waterfront Fashion Week as part of her senior thesis.

“It is kind of amazing to see what started out as an Honors Thesis has turned into,” Reynolds said. “Really, when I started, all I knew was that I wanted to sew something.”

27 EKU Honors students and 7 EKU faculty presented their research and creative work in Tampa, Florida at the Southern Regional Honors Conference, March 30-April 1, 2012. EKU Honors senior Nicholas Wade finished his term as Student Representative on the SRHC Executive Committee and Director Linda Frost was elected Vice-President for 2012-2013.

Senior's Poster Takes 1st Place at Fall NCHC Conference

Nan Campbell, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, earned a first-place award at the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) Conference which was held in Phoenix, Arizona in late October.
