Do I have to live in the Honors LLC?
EKU Honors students are not required to live in the Honors LLC.  However, we strongly encourage students to consider living in the LLC, as it is another element of our strong Honors community.  Members of the Honors LLC receive special programming and events specifically related to their role as Honors students.  Each year, the majority of the incoming class chooses to live in the Honors LLC.

Tell me about Burnam Hall/Martin Hall/the Honors LLC – kinds of rooms, features, etc.
Burnam Hall is a historic, centrally located hall close to the Ravine, the Crabbe Library, and Powell.  Burnam has two styles of rooms.  One wing of Burnam is community-style rooms – a floor of rooms with a community bathroom on each floor.  This wing is co-ed by floor, with men on one floor and women on another.  Most community-style rooms feature a sink within the room.  The other wing of Burnam is suite-style rooms – two rooms connected by a shared bathroom for the occupants of those rooms.  This wing is co-ed by suite; all members of a suite are of the same gender, though not necessarily all occupants of the same floor.

Burnam includes a large lobby area and a large basement, with a community kitchen, perfect for studying or hanging out with friends.  Laundry, trash, and recycling facilities are all contained within the hall.  For specific information about Burnam, please visit http://housing.eku.edu/burnam-hall.

Martin Hall was newly constructed in 2017 and is centrally located to much of campus as well.  Most rooms are suite-style - two rooms connected by a shared bathroom for the occupants of those rooms.  A limited number of "super suites" are also available, which feature shared living space and two full bathrooms for the four occupants.

Martin also includes many common study and recreation spaces, as well as two community kitchens.  Laundry, trash, and recycling facilities are all contained within the hall.  For specific information about Martin, please visit http://housing.eku.edu/martin-hall-0
